I really enjoyed myself for being part of marathon Bridgewater 2026,and the ushers were patient and lovely and wish the event to grow as time goes on

Only flaw was the toilet situation, huge queues right before the run made some people nearly late

Well organised.

It would have been useful to have some advice given regarding which side of the road to run on. Most people stayed left, but some original thinkers weren't very helpful, with runners in both directions.
Good course overall, and a lot of excellent marshals. Not too pleasant negotiating aggressive car drivers in kms 4 - 6 of the 10K, where it is narrow, but know this outside of your control.

The route was nice, needed more crowd support. I liked the club for the bar and food afterwards.

This was my very first race and I initially felt overwhelmed (as a lifetime non-runner I was very anxious!) but everyone was lovely, organisation was clear and I felt a real sense of achievement reaching the finish line.
Thank you to the organisers for such a wonderful event. A real asset to Bridgwater!

I will definitely be back again, excellently organised from entering the car park right through to receiving the medal. Great marshalls out on the course, giving encouragement and support, not one was on their mobile and so giving their full attention, thank you. The car park and ground staff also did a fantastic job.

One small piece of advice would be that it may benefit to have more water stops along the route as it was quite warm.

Really liked this race. I've recently relocated from an area of the country where you couldnt move for road races, and I'm still trying to find races for me to enter here. Saw the poster driving through BW and thought it was worth an entry.
Really enjoyed it. Slick organisation, great start/end venue, no problem parking, great coffee before start, cakes looked great too but though better of it.
Easy to get number, easy to park, nice course of different lengths, nice and flat - just a damn good event, will defo be back

No issues really with the run. Plenty of water stops along the way, more than I expected. Loads of marshalls which gives an idea of the good organisation of the event. Everyone was very friendly and supportive.

My only issue really is before the event. The AI generated content on the Facebook page was awful. Just get someone to post a few messages every now and then and for the love of god, stop with the AI images every day. It gave a poor impression of the event I thought which was quickly dashed once I got to the green on race day. You've got great members of staff, let them tell the story.
