It was a brilliant day. Shame the weather was so warm. The runners were all so friendly. It was like a big community.
Car parking was well organised although exit through the entrance would have been easier foe larger cars. Some porta loos for the ladies would have been good.
Communication pre event could have been improved. No email with an update after confirmation. An updated would have been good , especially as the old route was in the website until a couple of weeks ago.

Overall I enjoyed the half marathon and for the most part well organised. Good course suitable for beginners. Mostly flat with some inclines in and around Cannington but nothing major.

Check of the website by organisers was needed as all the start times were different. There clearly was an issue with the emails that were sent out. I received one on Monday but no else I knew did. Issue here is that all the race start times had changed. Not good. Also bad form to blame people for not checking “spam” or “junk”. Everyone does this nowadays. Also not everyone is on the socials.

For the half marathon route one of water stations towards the end had run out of water.

Marshals at all points were friendly and helpful and a big thank you to everyone who was collecting up our discarded water cups.

I booked for the fun run but decided the day before I wished I’d booked for the 10k, was able to upgrade easily the morning of the race. Parking was easy and there was lots of space to warm up, loads of marshals meant the route was easy to follow and there was a lovely atmosphere. Great idea of having a litter picker by the water station!

Route a bit boring not much to see when compared with other 10Ks I've done this summer.
Excellently organised, great staff, really enjoyed seeing the half marathon lot on their way back.

Warm up exercises would have been good. More info about course as we were waiting to st off e.g water stations

Fantastic medal, plenty of parking, good facilities. Nice to feel included and supported as a slower runner!

Disappointing that there wasn’t an email sent out in the week prior giving joining instructions and location. When announcing the winners it would be helpful to be given their times as well as names.

TIME THE 5K WITH CHIP OR CLOCK......PUBLISH RESULTS.

Good event, good organisation. My only moan is that cars blocked the lanes for some runners who had no choice but to stop. Mainly around 6-8km of the 10k route. Also e-scooters were shooting down the same route.

I enjoyed the course. I was a bit worried initially as the route I had practiced had changed but it was all well sign posted and marshalled. Great venue with good facilities.
Loved the atmosphere and the finishers medal was great.

Tougher than the old course but it was windy out there today! Many thanks to all the organisers, top job

Extremely well organised event. I believe starting the half marathon in waves for the event would be way better. Starting all 800 runners all at the same time when everyone’s running different levels and paces was a nightmare. The first 2 kilometres the lanes were quite narrow to run down especially when people in run clubs were running 5 abreast.

Only negative would be that the start times were confusing. One site said the half marathon started at 10am while other sites stated 11am which meant I got to the start line by the skin of my teeth. Apparently, emails were sent due to a error on the timing but I haven't received one.

Fantastically organised race, clear signage on route, however I feel the half marathon should start in waves. The first 2k was very congested and was difficult to overtake when lanes were narrow.

Almost went the wrong way, as marshall 33 by the traffic lights in the last mile wasn't there. Luckily I looked both ways and seen some runners on my right

Great all round, from start to finish.
I think next year they need to put porter loos around the main area, as there was long lines for the toilets, water stops ran out of water, didnt help.
But great people, all the staff and helps did great and helping where they can.
